This week on Jersey Shore, a very sad day comes at the shore house when Vinny makes a very difficult decision.
Everyone is so happy to be back in New Jersey, but Vinny is still missing his family really bad. Pauly D and Ronnie tried their best to convince Vinny to stay in the house with them. It seemed like nothing they said could change the way he was feeling.
Snooki and The Situation were still out at the club. The Situation met up with Paula, the drunk girl from the first season. Oh right that describes everyone. Let me be more specific…they hooked up in the Jacuzzi and then she fell down the stairs. Ring any bells? Well The Situation made an executive decision to take her home that night.
When everyone was walking back to the house from the club it started pouring down rain. Jionni was soaking wet when they got to the house and he didn’t have a change of clothes. The Situation, being the sneaky guido that he is, tried to befriend Jionni by giving him dry clothes to wear. He even went as far as cooking a drunk meal for Jionni and bringing it to the room for him. Now that’s good service! Too bad The Situation has ulterior motives. He has Jionni believing he is a good guy when Jionni has no idea The Situation and Snooki hooked up while she was with Jionni.
Sammi and JWOWW showed up for their first day of work and Vinny was nowhere to be found. It wasn’t until a few hours into the shift that Vinny finally showed up. He was hoping that going to the Shore Store would help get him out of his funk and lift his spirits a little bit. Danny noticed Vinny was feeling down so they went for a walk to talk about what is going on. It turns out Vinny has had clinical anxiety since he was 16 years old and he is having another episode. The mixture of being away from his family so long and all the drinking and partying is just too much for him to handle at this point.
How cute is this? The boys really want Vinny to stay so they took him to the nail salon for manicures and pedicures. This was just one of many other attempts to get Vinny to stay. That is how much he means to the entire house.
Unlike Vinny, Pauly D was way too excited to be back in Jersey. So much so that he practically fried his face off going tanning. For the first time in guido history a guido was being advised NOT to go tanning. Gasp!
Everyone got all dolled up for their first night out at Karma since they’ve arrived back at the shore. Deena immediately runs into a good looking guy she knows, Damian, and they were making out not too long after. That was quick! She moved quicker than any of the boys that night. She wasn’t alone though. By the end of the night everyone besides Vinny and JWOWW had someone to smoosh.
Jionni can’t seem to understand that he is dating Snooki. It is no secret that she loves to get incredibly wasted, yet he still gets pissed when she is too drunk at Karma. The poor guy needs to either realize that is just who she is, or he needs to move on.
The girl Pauly D brought home got caught red handed on the camera in the smoosh room stealing Pauly D’s favorite chain necklace. She literally shoved it down her shorts and left without him noticing it was missing. After she was gone Pauly D looked everywhere for the chain. The girl actually came back to the house wearing the chain and returned it. It looks like she just took it to have an excuse to see him again.
Ronnie made an attempt to cheer Vinny up by taking him to the pier to play carnival games. Vinny seems like he really is trying to have fun but nothing seems to be working. All the boys get an A+ for effort, though. At this point Vinny started to realize he needed to make the best decision for him, no matter how much his roommates wanted him to stay.
Pauly D stayed behind while everyone went to Karma again. He was hoping to get a chance to talk to Vinny and finally get through to him, but before he could do that Vinny called his sister and asked her to come pick him up. The look on Pauly D’s face when he found out his best friend in the house was worse than puppy dog eyes. He looked like he was going to cry. I’m actually kind of shocked he didn’t cry.
Let’s all hope that Vinny comes back!
